A bit about me

I’ve long been fascinated by the way that families interact and the different ways that they choose (or not) to communicate.  I trained as a lawyer and for 20 years have specialised in tax and trust structuring for private clients.  I have been fortunate, through my legal career, to work with many families with varying issues and my role has been the ‘solution provider’.  Sometimes the solution that’s obvious to the lawyer just won’t cut it with the family; the project stalls and the lawyer and the family are both left frustrated for opposing reasons.

I was attracted to being a consultant because it provides a freedom to get to know a family beyond the constraints of a timesheet.  Being a consultant at WCG is not about having an answer for every situation but providing an opportunity to explore what the answer might be for that particular family.
